Sharing a talent profile with hiring companies

Providing direct talent profile access to hiring companies actively looking to fill their jobs is a great way to support your networks recruiting efforts. Maybe you want to promote a couple of exceptional talent in a newsletter with links to their respective profiles. Or perhaps you want to show off a certain talent member profile to network companies looking for specific expertise.

To start, locate their profile:

  1. Log in to your account and navigate to the Members page
  2. From the Members page, search by name to locate the professional you want to share.
  3. Select Share on the profile


These are two ways to share a talent profile:


URL link to the talent profile
  1. On the member profile card, click the three-dot menu and then select share; or, click the share button from the full-view of the profile.
  2. Copy the URL, and paste that link in an email or other communication channels to share the professional profile.
Email to selected companies
  1. On the member profile card, click the three-dot menu and then select share; or, click the share button from the full-view of the profile.
  2. Enter a company name in the Select companies field. You can enter as many as you'd like.
  3. Click Draft email to compose your communication

Good to know!

If you need to refer to the company admin by name, simply click Go back and check out the name to include it in your email :)

  1. Click Review and Send to confirm who will receive your email.
  2. Click Send Emails.
  3. The selected company admins will receive the email. If the talent looks interesting to them, they can proceed from there to request an introduction.
  4. Clicking Request Introduction in the email will place them on the admin portal login screen to enter their Getro credentials.  

Note

Before sharing talent profiles with companies, make sure to prepare companies to receive introduction requests. Once logged in, they can review the talent profile, as well as access the talent LinkedIn profile. 

  1. From there, company admins can request the introduction so this exceptional talent does not slip away! All that in a single efficient email to connect both parties.


Boom! You've just facilitated an introduction between exceptional talent and a hiring company in search of exactly that.
